TeamSizewellC (https://team.sizewellc.com) is a site operated by Sizewell C Limited (“we”, “us”, “Sizewell C”). We are a private limited company registered in England and Wales (under company number 09284825) and have our registered office at 25 Copthall Avenue, London, England, EC2R 7BP.

By using TeamSizewellC, you accept these Terms

By accessing or using TeamSizewellC you accept these Terms of service (“Terms”) and agree to comply with them. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not register an account on or use any part of TeamSizewellC.

Please read these Terms carefully before you use TeamSizewellC; we recommend that you save a copy of these Terms for future reference.

If you opt in to receiving updates from TeamSizewellC via our Alert Notifications service, these Terms will apply to your use of the Alert Notifications service. The Alert Notifications service is a push notification functionality that can be enabled or disabled via your account settings.

We amend these Terms from time to time and will indicate at the top of the page when these Terms were last revised.

Every time you wish to use TeamSizewellC, please check these Terms to ensure you understand the terms that apply at that time.

We may update and change TeamSizewellC from time to time.

We may suspend or withdraw TeamSizewellC

TeamSizewellC is made available free of charge.

We do not guarantee that TeamSizewellC, or any content on it, will always be available or be uninterrupted. We may suspend or withdraw or restrict the availability of all or any part of TeamSizewellC for business and operational reasons.

You are also responsible for ensuring that all persons who access TeamSizewellC through your internet connection are aware of these Terms and that they comply with them.

If we withdraw or amend your access to TeamSizewellC (including to any content posted or uploaded by you), we may delete or block access to your account or to any content on TeamSizewellC (whether uploaded by you, other users or otherwise). We are under no obligation to unblock or reactivate your account, and we will not be responsible to you if for any reason TeamSizewellC, content on TeamSizewellC, or your account is unavailable at any time or for any period.

If your account or access to TeamSizewellC is terminated (whether by you or by us), these Terms will remain in effect.

You must not use TeamSizewellC for any illegal purpose or for any purpose that threatens or causes damage to our reputation or the reputation of any of our group companies, customers, suppliers, stakeholders or users.

TeamSizewellC is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 13. Where we have reason to believe a user is under this age, we reserve the right to restrict or suspend their access.

You must provide accurate information when registering to use TeamSizewellC

Before you can access TeamSizewellC you will be required to complete a registration process. Information you provide to us must be complete, accurate, up to date and not misleading.

If you provide us with incomplete, inaccurate, out of date or misleading information we may suspend or terminate your account at any time.

You may be required to meet certain criteria as set out on TeamSizewellC or in other information that we provide to you in order for us to grant you access to TeamSizewellC or certain services on TeamSizewellC. The setting of any such criteria shall be at our sole discretion, but we will explain what those criteria are. We reserve the right to refuse access to or disable TeamSizewellC or any of its services at any time.

You must tell us promptly about any changes to the information that you have provided to us. You can do this by using the “manage your account” function within TeamSizewellC.

You must keep your account details safe

You must treat any username, password and or other account security information that we send you as confidential, and you must not disclose it to any third party.

We have the right to disable any user identification code or password, whether chosen by you or allocated by us, at any time, if in our reasonable opinion you have failed to comply with any of the provisions of these Terms.

If you know or suspect that anyone other than you knows your username or password, you must change your password by logging into your profile and using the ‘change password’ option. Alternatively, you can tell us so that we can change your account details. Please contact us via itsupport@sizewellc.com if you believe your account is no longer secure.

Your account is personal to you and you may not share, sell, transfer, assign or license your account to any other person at any time.

How you may use material on TeamSizewellC

We are the owner or the licensee of all intellectual property rights in TeamSizewellC, and in the material published on it. Those works are protected by copyright laws and treaties around the world. All such rights are reserved.

You may print off one copy, and may download extracts, of any page(s) from TeamSizewellC for your personal use and you may draw the attention of others within your organisation to content posted on TeamSizewellC.

You must not modify the paper or digital copies of any materials you have printed off or downloaded in any way, and you must not use any illustrations, photographs, video or audio sequences or any graphics separately from any accompanying text.

Our status (and that of any identified contributors) as the authors of content on TeamSizewellC must always be acknowledged (except where the content is user-generated).

You must not use any part of the content on TeamSizewellC for commercial purposes without obtaining a licence to do so from us or our licensors.

If you print off, copy, download, share or repost any part of TeamSizewellC in breach of these Terms, your right to use TeamSizewellC will cease immediately and you must, at our option, return or destroy any copies of the materials you have made (except that you are permitted to print off a copy of these Terms).

“Sizewell C”, “SZC” and other marks used on TeamSizewellC are our trade marks or those of our licensors and may not be used without our prior written permission.

No text or data mining, or web scraping

You shall not conduct, facilitate, authorise or permit any text or data mining or web scraping in relation to TeamSizewellC or any services provided via, or in relation to, TeamSizewellC for any purpose, including the development, training, fine-tuning or validation of AI systems or models. This includes using (or permitting, authorising or attempting the use of):

Any “robot”, “bot”, “spider”, “scraper” or other automated device, program, tool, algorithm, code, process or methodology to access, obtain, copy, monitor or republish any portion of TeamSizewellC or any data, content, information or services accessed via the same.

Any automated analytical technique aimed at analysing text and data in digital form to generate information or develop, train, fine-tune or validate AI systems or models which includes but is not limited to patterns, trends and correlations.

The provisions in this clause should be treated as an express reservation of our rights in this regard, including for the purposes of Article 4(3) of the Digital Copyright Directive ((EU) 2019/790).

You shall not use, and we do not consent to the use of, TeamSizewellC, or any data published by, or contained in, or accessible via, TeamSizewellC or any services provided via, or in relation to, TeamSizewellC for the purposes of developing, training, fine-tuning or validating any AI system or model.

This clause will not apply insofar as (but only to the extent that) we are unable to exclude or limit text or data mining or web scraping activity by contract under the laws which are applicable to us.

Rules about linking to TeamSizewellC

You may link to TeamSizewellC, provided you do so in a way that is fair and legal and does not damage our reputation or take advantage of it.

You must not establish a link in such a way as to suggest any form of association, approval or endorsement on our part where none exists.

You must not establish a link to TeamSizewellC in any website that is not owned by you.

TeamSizewellC must not be framed on any other site, nor may you create a link to any part of TeamSizewellC other than the home page.

We reserve the right to withdraw linking permission without notice.

The website in which you are linking must comply in all respects with our Acceptable Use Policy.

Uploading content to TeamSizewellC

Whenever you make use of a feature that allows you to create content directly on TeamSizewellC, upload or share content to TeamSizewellC, or to make contact with other users of TeamSizewellC (“user-uploaded content”), you must comply with the standards set out in our Acceptable Use Policy.

You warrant that any such user-uploaded content complies with those standards, and you are liable to us and indemnify us for any breach of that warranty. This means you will be responsible for any loss or damage we suffer as a result of your breach of warranty.

You are responsible for the content, accuracy and suitability of any text, images, photos, video, audio and other user-uploaded content posted or uploaded by you onto TeamSizewellC, and for the consequences of posting/uploading such content. We will not be responsible for or liable to you or any third party for any such user-uploaded content.

We will consider any user-uploaded content to TeamSizewellC to be non-confidential and not protected by any trademark, patent or copyright (“non-proprietary”), that is, in the public domain. You own your user-uploaded content, but you are required to grant us and other users of TeamSizewellC a limited licence to use, store and copy that user-uploaded content and to distribute and make it available to others.

We also have the right to disclose your identity to anyone who is claiming that any user-uploaded content posted or uploaded by you to TeamSizewellC violates their intellectual property rights or their right to privacy.

We have the right to moderate, remove or report any user-uploaded content (including comments) that we reasonably believe does not comply with the acceptable use standards set out in our Acceptable Use Policy or that we reasonably believe breaches applicable laws, including but not limited to content that is illegal, abusive, misleading or harmful to children, Content that violates UK law, promotes violence, abuse, or self-harm, or is otherwise deemed harmful under the Online Safety Act 2023 is strictly prohibited. We may implement automated or manual moderation tools to ensure that user-uploaded content complies with applicable laws.

You agree to make the user-uploaded content available to us and other users on TeamSizewellC without payment or other compensation to you.

You are responsible for making back-up copies of the user-uploaded content. We are not liable to you or any third party for any loss of, or corruption or damage to, user-uploaded content.

Rights you are giving us to use material you upload

When you upload or post content to TeamSizewellC, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable licence to use, reproduce, distribute, prepare derivative works of, display, and perform that user-uploaded content in connection with the service provided by the website and across different media including to promote TeamSizewellC or the service forever.

User-uploaded content is not approved by us

TeamSizewellC may include information and materials uploaded by other users. This information and these materials have not been verified or approved by us. The views expressed by other users on TeamSizewellC do not represent our views or values.

If you have any reason to believe any user-uploaded content on TeamSizewellC contravenes these Terms or is otherwise inappropriate, please let us know via communications@sizewellc.com. We will review and respond to such reports promptly.

Do not rely on information on TeamSizewellC

The content on TeamSizewellC is provided for general information only. It is not intended to amount to advice on which you should rely. You must obtain professional or specialist advice before taking, or refraining from, any action on the basis of the content on TeamSizewellC.

Although we make reasonable efforts to update the information on TeamSizewellC, we make no representations, warranties or guarantees, whether express or implied, that the content on TeamSizewellC is accurate, complete or up to date.

We are not responsible for websites we link to

Where TeamSizewellC contains links to other sites and resources provided by third parties, these links are provided for your information only. Such links should not be interpreted as approval by us of those linked websites or information you may obtain from them.

We have no control over the contents of those sites or resources.

We are not responsible for viruses

We do not guarantee that TeamSizewellC will be secure or free from bugs or viruses.

You are responsible for configuring your information technology, computer programs and platform to access TeamSizewellC. You should use your own virus protection software.

You must not introduce viruses

You must not misuse TeamSizewellC by knowingly introducing viruses, trojans, worms, logic bombs or other material that is malicious or technologically harmful, or otherwise harmfully interacting with TeamSizewellC or any part of it.

You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to TeamSizewellC, the server on which TeamSizewellC is stored or any server, computer or database connected to TeamSizewellC or any other equipment or network connected with TeamSizewellC.

You must not interfere with, damage or disrupt any software used in the provision of TeamSizewellC or any equipment or network or software owned or used by any third party on which this site relies in any way.

You must not attack TeamSizewellC via a denial-of-service attack or a distributed denial-of-service attack. By breaching this provision, you would commit a criminal offence under the Computer Misuse Act 1990. We will report any such breach to the relevant law enforcement authorities and we will co-operate with those authorities by disclosing your identity to them. In the event of such a breach, your right to use TeamSizewellC will cease immediately.

Abuse notifications

If you believe that any content on this Extranet infringes your rights, or is otherwise contrary to these Terms, you may send a notification of that alleged unlawful content by contacting us.

Our responsibility for loss or damage suffered by you

We do not exclude or limit in any way our liability to you where it would be unlawful to do so. This includes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or the negligence of our employees, agents or subcontractors and for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

If you are a business user:

  • We exclude all implied conditions, warranties, representations or other terms that may apply to TeamSizewellC or any content on it.
  • We will not be liable to you for any loss or damage, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty, or otherwise, even if foreseeable, arising under or in connection with:
    • use of, or inability to use, TeamSizewellC; or
    • use of or reliance on any content displayed on TeamSizewellC.
  • In particular, we will not be liable for:
    • loss of profits, sales, business, or revenue;
    • business interruption;
    • loss of anticipated savings;
    • loss of business opportunity, goodwill or reputation; or
    • any indirect or consequential loss or damage.

If you are a consumer user:

  • We only provide TeamSizewellC for domestic and private use. You agree not to use TeamSizewellC for any commercial or business purposes, and we have no liability to you for any loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption, or loss of business opportunity.
  • If defective digital content that we have supplied damages a device or digital content belonging to you and this is caused by our failure to use reasonable care and skill, we will either repair the damage or pay you compensation.

Other important terms

We are committed to ensuring the safety of users on TeamSizewellC. If necessary, we may publish reports or information detailing how we manage risks, moderate content, and implement good safety practices.

We may transfer all or any of our rights and legal responsibilities under these Terms without your permission. Your rights and duties under these Terms apply only to you and cannot be transferred to any other person without our written permission.

No delay or failure by us to exercise any of our rights, powers or privileges under these Terms will act as a waiver thereof and nor shall any single or partial exercise thereof preclude any further exercise.

If any provision of these Terms is declared invalid or unenforceable, such provisions shall be deemed to be deleted from these Terms and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

The laws of England apply to these Terms and any contractual or non-contractual disputes relating to these Terms or their subject matter may only be heard exclusively in the English courts.
